Interview with Gabriela, aka "Jadorelemakeup"

Today I’ll start my project “Let’s get to know girl YouTubers”, a journey in the YouTube world. Thanks to this project we can interview girls coming from there in order to get to know them better!
Our today’s guest is Gabriela, aka "Jadorelemakeup", a beautiful girl. Her channel has more than 52.500 subscribers and over 9.150.000 visualizations, but let’s get to know her better....

Describe yourself in a few words.

I’m peaceful, positive and always smile, I love kidding, poking fun on me and make other people feel good.

When did your passion for make-up start?

As a child, I very much appreciated my mom’s lipstick, which was in a gold metal confection. I’ve never seen her wearing that lipstick. I couldn’t wait to grow up to wear it as well!

How did you come up with the idea to open a channel on YouTube?

I used to watch many videos and all girls would wear mascara in a “curious” way; well, I opened a channel with the aim of showing how to apply mascara right :-)

Why did you call it like this?

I love speaking French, and I just called it like that.

Do you remember what your first video was?

Yes. After a trip to London, I uploaded a video showing my crazy shopping in London!

What’s your favorite one?

Those concerning more “serious” topics, such as the ones about stalking, prevention and animal abandonment.

Apart from make-up, do you have any other passion?

Fashion, archeology and reading! I’m a very curious person.

In your opinion, who, among big names, has her make-up done best?

Those who have the best make-up artist! ;-) I love Paola Barale and the fact that she’s innovative.

However, who, among big names, has her make-up done worst?

Those who’ve always been using the same make-up for years without never changing it.

What’s your attitude towards web criticisms?

I’ll never understand them. I have a very busy life, I don’t have time to do what I love, least of all to follow the people I don’t like and waste my time criticizing them... Maybe they don’t have much free time ;-)

What product do you always have in your make-up set?

Mascara

When good weather comes, I advise all girls to use a high sun protection (over 30).
